Putting trust in the National Trust; New Changing Places toilet at Hindhead

The National Trust is Europe’s largest conservation charity, looking after nature, beauty and history for the nation to enjoy. With 2020 marking 125 years since the National Trust was founded, the need to nurture natural spaces and historic places is just as important now, and for future generations.

The National Trust cares and manages Hindhead Commons and the Devil’s Punch Bowl. Designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is a popular destination for people to admire stunning views across the Punch Bowl and from Gibbet Hill, the second-highest point in Surrey. A convenient car park alongside an accessible National Trust café, picnic area and visitor den make this a popular destination for all ages. This has been enhanced by the inclusion of a new Changing Places toilet in September 2020, the first to be installed at a National Trust venue in London and the South East, enabling all visitors to put their trust in the National Trust as they visit this stunning location.
